We are all Layers, of the community…
Layers was created to represent the many Layers that form our communities, and today we wanted to share some of the initial efforts we are taking to support the Layers of our community.
Our initial steps are to provide financial, material, and moral support to the first responders and health care workers who are on the frontlines fighting this battle.
With just a few quick actions, you can assist these people as well, and prove that we are all Layers in this global community.
We have partnered with a private foundation, and we are starting with an immediate donation of $5,000 to United Way of Tarrant County, a nonprofit leader, that brings together individuals, groups, donors and service providers to help solve some of the toughest social issues affecting Tarrant County. Our goal is to get to $10,000 by April 30th.
This is all that you have to do in order to get us to our goal:
- Find the video post on one of our social channels (and below)
- Comment on the post and tell us what being a layer in your community means to you, and include the tag #wearelayers ($1)
You just donated the equivalent of $1 towards this contribution. It’s that simple.
This is only the beginning. In addition to this initial commitment, we will continue to work on ways to support other local efforts and include all layers of the community in our efforts.
